SITECH Sitztechnik GmbH is a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. Nearly 2,300 employees produce seat components and complete seats in our two manufacturing plants. The satisfaction of our clients is our priority. Our employees make every effort to ensure that the products we offer meet highest quality standards.

Manufacturing seats is genuine craftwork–  in different work stations, each seat is made from seat structure, foam pads and upholstery strictly according to the equipment version ordered by the client. The luxury version includes electric seat adjustment, seat heating and leather upholstery. The same manufacturing process is applied for the standard seat version. The final step is taking the complete car seats directly to the assembly line of our clients.

At the largest German SITECH plant in Wolfsburg, approximately 1,800 employees manufacture up to 3,800 complete carsets per day for the Volkswagen models Golf, Golf Sportsvan, Tiguan and Touran. The relevant production specifications are provided four to five hours in advance.

Emden Plant

At the SITECH plant in Emden, approximately 440 employees manufacture carsets for Passat and Arteon. Orders for dashboards and centre consoles for both these car models are also processed in this location, and the components are partly pre-assembled here.
